September begins the fall season for Moab Art Walk. The Moab Art Walk includes featured artists and receptions. Most exhibits run for a month or more so feel free to stop in anytime at participating locations! As a special treat, the Moab Taiko Dan will be playing at 7 and 8 PM Next to Petra on Center Street. Taiko Dan enjoys supporting community events and we are pleased to have them.
Petra Gallery
Petra features Cynthia Beyer’s painted gourd rattles and drums. These instruments provide inspiration and joy. Reyes Madalena is a Native American Pueblo Indian potter. Her work utilizes ancient pottery making techniques.

Museum of Moab
This exhibit features the cliffs of the San Juan River at Sand Island. Included is one of the largest petroglyph panels in North America. Sponsored by the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History.
